Flooding Forecast

Observed sea level data is obtained from MEDS for various locations in Atlantic Canada (represented by red dots). This data is plotted twice weekly for validation of the storm surge model run at Dalhousie University. The produced graphs show the comparison between the observed and predicted levels, where the predicted levels are the sum of the tidal and surge forecasts with a modified Kalman filter applied.
